Learn to turn basic shapes into three dimensional forms through construction methods. Become familiar with how lighting works as applied through drawing techniques. Learn how to deconstruct a still life through easy to understand steps.

Description: Exploration starts with preparation for the journey!

Water is a fascinating substance and has rules all it's own, so Sue will teach you it's language and unravel its mysteries.  Color, tint, saturation, tone, value; these are words with which you'll be on friendly terms. 

So many fun things to learn while you watch pigment explodes into the shiny surface of a piece of wet paper!

Pre-requisite:  Completion of the Beginning Watercolor class or some experience with glazing, various washes, color mixing and simple brush work. 

Description: The basics of watercolor painting are familiar friends and you have a degree of comfort using your tools and equipment. Now it is time to explore what can be accomplished with your skills!
